SALARY RANGE : $77,169-$86,829

It operates several social enterprises, including an in-person and online store. Each enterprise seeks smart, mission-focused sustainability and looks forward to brick-and-mortar expansion and increase online sales.

JOB PURPOSE

LightHouse seeks a dedicated and highly-skilled manager to oversee ecommerce retail operations. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless integration and operations across all platforms as the company expands into additional retail locations in 2025.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain the company's accessible Shopify-based store site, ensuring that product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for sales.
  • Collaborate with store staff to confirm product descriptions, images, and inventory levels, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Oversee the creation and management of website content, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with both accessibility standards and the company's branding and marketing strategies.
  • Proactively research processes for website optimization, including apps designed to improve the automation of processes such as in-store pickup and AI-assisted shopping.
  • Implement and oversee inventory management processes, including setting and monitoring reorder points within Shopify and coordinating purchasing with external suppliers.
  • Work closely with store staff to ensure that inventory orders are both placed, and received accurately, in a timely manner.
  • Lead efforts to automate purchasing processes, streamline inventory management, and produce reports as needed.
  • Support the expansion of additional retail locations, overseeing the setup
  • Become a subject-matter-expert during the integration of a secondary point-of-sale Square, which will be launched at a new in-person retail location.
  • Ensure accessibility and consistent operations across both Shopify and Square platforms.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of products.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the online store and retail locations, working closely with store managers and staff to align online and in-store inventory operations.
  • Collaborate with the retail team to ensure that all product launches, promotions, and campaigns are represented accurately on the adaptation's website.
  • Assist in updating the Shopify website, including adding product photos, descriptions.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory in Shopify.
  • Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback to support decision-making and business growth strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Work experience in eCommerce, web design, retail, marketing, product management, business analyst is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS / IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce, specifically with Shopify and Square, and will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our online products, from inventory management to the accuracy and accessibility of website content.

This role requires a proactive approach to managing vendor relationships, automating purchasing processes, and ensuring that our online store reflects accurate product descriptions and stock levels at all times.

  • Proven experience managing e-commerce platforms,
  • Experience with Shopify and Square platforms, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing, with a track record of optimizing processes and driving efficiencies.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Web Accessibility Content Guidelines (WCAG) including the principles, success criteria, and best practices for making web content accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with the Zoom platform.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to both function as part of the team and work as an effective self-starter in a remote environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

WORKING CONDITIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs., with frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Employees must also have the ability to perform computer-intensive work and operate standard office equipment.
