Job Summary :
Assist the MRSO and / or Clinical Manager of MRI with the prescreening of implants for both MRI inpatients and MRI outpatients.
Prints patients implant information for MRSO to review. Completes all patient paperwork and faxes cardiology order forms to cardiologist for approval.
Follows up with cardiology office, ordering physicians office, and pending patients to ensure accurate and timely communication.
Documents screening process updates in SCM. Assists MRSO with scheduling and coordinating CIED patients with Manufacturer Representative for programming of patients CIED's at time of appointment.
Assist MRI staff in conjunction with Logistics, inpatients and the nursing department on timely completion of MRI Safety questionnaires for inpatients.
Required Qualifications :
Require an Associate degree in Science, relevant medical experience can be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Prefer previous healthcare experience.
- Prefer prior medical scheduling experience.
- Prefer prior experience in radiology registration or similar medical registration.
- Prefer working knowledge of software systems and incorporation of technology into all operational functions.
- Prefer knowledge of medical terminology.
- Prefer Microsoft Office proficiency.
