Job Opportunity : Management Consultant Role

Job Family : Management Consulting

What You Will Do :

• The role involves managing projects, interacting with stakeholders, executing project tasks, and assisting with business development activities such as proposal development and networking.
• Projects may include IT strategy and implementation, cybersecurity and data protection, data governance, software and vendor selection, and technology risk assessments.
• You will also contribute to practice development activities by creating new service solutions, writing thought leadership articles, and mentoring others.

What You Will Need :

• Knowledge and practical application of leading technologies and solutions in areas such as customer relationship management, data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud.
• Ability to explain how these technologies can be used to address business challenges.
• Familiarity with industry frameworks and methodologies like Project Management Institute (PMI), Agile Scrum, or ITIL.
• 10+ years of experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of state and local government processes and key areas like education, housing, transportation, and more.
• Experience in business development including sourcing and leading proposal development efforts.
• Strong program management skills with expertise in technology transformation projects.
• Ability to analyze business issues and trends, and recommend technology solutions.
• Financial and analytical skills for tracking and maximizing technology investments.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Experience in solution development, functional architecture, and program management.
• Ability to assess business needs, develop implementation plans, and manage multiple engagements.
• Effective communication and leadership skills in coordinating with technical and business teams.
• Expertise in IT implementation, strategy development, and documentation.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, adapt to unexpected issues, and provide constructive feedback.
