We are looking for a Construction Supervisor to join our growing team in Western NC.

About the role

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction activities related to expanding and upgrading our fiber optic network infrastructure.

You will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Managing construction personnel and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Performing regular inspections of the construction site to ensure designs are followed, specifications and standards are adhered to, and the site is kept clean of all debris, garbage, or other hazards.
  • Manage customer complaints through resolution, interfacing directly with customers as needed and enforcing SLA for contractor resolution of any customer complaints.
  • Identifying potential safety hazards and managing them accordingly.
  • Ensuring all personnel comply with health and safety practices, such as wearing the appropriate protective equipment, adhering to safe excavation methods, and abiding by any state specific 811 / One Call utility requirements.
  • Organizing work schedules.
  • Checking work techniques are correct and safe per industry standards.
  • Assisting Construction Managers with planning work activities.
  • Completing site reports and other records daily to include production reports.
  • Attending site management meetings daily.
