• As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) you will : *
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech and communication abilities to develop individualized intervention plans.
• Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to create and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, ensuring that interventions are engaging and effective.
• Track and report on student progress towards IEP goals, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
• Travel between school campuses to deliver services as required.
• Qualifications for this School-Based SLP position include : *
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from accredited speech-language pathology programs.
• Active Speech Language Pathology license in the state of California.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a collaborative approach to working with students, families, and staff.
