The Position
This position would be to join the Lean-Agile Transformation team with the Louisiana Department of Children and Families.
Specifically, we are helping lead LA DCFS through what it takes to either migrate to lean-agile principles for their projects and / or helping them achieve greater maturity in their processes.
Travel is required for non-local candidates.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement business and technology solutions in an Agile environment
- Coordinate across large cross-functional project teams consisting of technical and business personnel, as well other vendors and contractors
- Develop approaches to solving key client business issues by determining client needs and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
- Manage discovery and communications processes for the identification, resolution and mitigation of risks and issues
- Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities
- Ability to understanding of a strategic vision and ability to move forward on a plan to achieve this vision
Position Requirements / Competencies
5+ years’ consulting experience, with the most recent being in Health & Human Services (i.e, child welfare, child support enforcement, and / or child services) preferred-4+ years’ experience in project management or with the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)-Experience in business process re-engineering-Proficiency in Lean-Agile principles and practices (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, etc)-Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment-Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Education and Relevant Work Experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in related field -SAFe / Scrum certifications preferred but not required
