About The Position
Location : Minnesota
Position : Locum Tenens Internal Medicine (MD / DO)
We are seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our Hospitalist team. This physician will provide comprehensive cross-coverage admissions to all patients referred to the service.
Assignment Details :
- Coverage Reason : Open provider slots
- Start Date : ASAP
- Duration : 1-year assignment
- Shift Information : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM, night shifts.
- Patient Load : 126 adult acute beds, staffed by 2 Physicians and 2 APPs.
- EMR System : EPIC
- Support Staff : Respiratory Therapists, on-site Intensivists, and 24-hour on-call consultants
Requirements :
- Board Certification Required : Yes (Internal Medicine)
- Life Safety Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS
- Procedures Required : None
- Experience Level : 1-3 years or more preferred
Top Desired Skills :
- Ability to work in a team environment handling acute care patients.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
- Strong communication and collaboration with support staff.
