Custom home builder on Cape Cod is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join their growing team. The Manager will lead the company’s business development, sales and marketing efforts and collaborate with the senior leadership team to help achieve organizational goals.
The Manager will be hands-on as both an individual contributor while possessing natural leadership ability and maintaining accountability.
Responsibilities include :
Sales Goals & Strategy
- Provide vision and strategy around sales and business development.
- Create sales plans and budgets in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Forecast both current and projected business in the pipeline.
- Track and analyze data needed to establish goals and forecast effectively.
- Anticipate sales trends and respond accordingly.
- Provide regular updates regarding sales progress, building permit analysis as to won / lost, business improvement plans for existing customer base, and prospect lists.
- Identify sales goals for the department and individual sales teams.
- Collaborate with internal team and external agencies to create effective marketing strategy.
- Identify ways to optimize the brand and use marketing efforts to better support sales goals and initiatives.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Ensure all employees understand and practice the company’s service philosophy.
- Know our competitors and identify opportunities to differentiate in the market.
- Maintain familiarity with building codes and developments in our industry.

Required Qualifications :
- 3+ years of leadership experience in sales, business development or related role, preferably in the building industry.
- Formal sales training and proven record of system-based selling preferred.
- Exhibit a combination of personal humility, confidence and ambition.
- Professional, effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient navigating technology platforms and CRM software.
- Strong business aptitude and basic accounting skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary range $100,000-$125,000 commensurate with experience plus performance-based incentive bonus. Benefits include company vehicle, health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, and 401k plan with employer match.
