Position : Operations FieldSupervisor

JobDuties :
- Provideleadership and mentorship to Field and ShopTechnicians.
- Evaluate the technicalperformance of Field and Shop Technicians including safety workefficiency and conduct annual performancereviews.
- Coordinate and ist betweenProject Manager and other AECdepartments.
- ist Job Leads withproject responsibilities and provide jobrelatedtraining.
- Develop and implementoperations improvement procedures asneeded.
- Review and evaluate testequipment; recommend future test equipmentpurchases.
- Manage and lead projectsensuring they are completed within scope on time and withinbudget.
- Respond to dailycommunications / emails from customers and AEC teammembers.
- Track and coordinatetechnical and safety training for Field and ShopTechnicians.
- Mitigate technical andscheduling issues at jobsites.
- Perform random field auditsevaluating job progress quality of work and safety to ensurecompliance with qualitystandards.
- Provide timely feedbackin a positive continuous learningenvironment.
- Facilitate Root Causeysis for project deficiencies and develop corrective and preventiveactions.
- Oversee technical andsafety continuing education for Field and ShopTechnicians.
- Manage daily JobHazards essment (JHA) review content and take corrective action asneeded.
- Lead by example in safetycommunication andprocedures.
- Recommend candidates forthe annual safety award.
- Ensurefield compliance with NFPA 70E and Cal OSHArequirements.
- Collaborate with theAEC Operations team to provide feedback on QA / QCactivities.
- ist with shutdowncoordination.
- Review final jobreports for accuracy andquality.

Requirements :
- Technicaland Standards Competency :
- Experiencewith electrical testing on low and medium voltage equipment (e.g.substations switchgears circuit breakers instrument transformersprotective relays automatic transfer switches motor control centerstransformers groundingsystems).
- Knowledge of the NationalElectrical Code OSHA IEEE and NFPAstandards.
- Familiarity with thelatest International Electrical Testing ociation (NETA) ANSIStandards for acceptance maintenance andcommissioning.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70B(Electrical Maintenance) and NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in theWorkplace)standards.
Educationand WorkExperience :
- Bachelorof Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent from atechnical school.
- Five years ofdirectly related workexperience.
- Equivalent militarytechnical experienceconsidered.
- NETA or NICETCertification is aplus.
Required : - 15+ years of experience in information technology(GCP), with a focus on infrastructure and networking. - 10+ yearsof experience as an infrastructure architect, preferably inmanufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in interactingwith business sectors at a strategic level (Directors, VPs, andsenior management).
- Ability to occasionally travel to the variousoffices of our client (Canada, US). - Permanent resident orCanadian Citizen - Bilingualism (spoken / written) in French andEnglish.

Education
