In the Field Marketing team, our job is to build marketing programs that serve as a growth engine for the Grid Automation sales teams in North America (NAM) and Latin America (LAM).
The Field Marketing Coordinator role joins a team of 6 dynamic field marketing experts who live and breathe demand generation each day.
We need you to cut through the noise and help us reach customers and prospects with compelling Marketing and Communications programs that help us achieve our team mission to tell the Grid Automation story, sustainably.
The Field Marketing Coordinator will ensure the end-to-end marketing programs are launched on budget and on time. You will partner with colleagues in the field and global MarCom organization to drive the planning, execution and measurement of select marketing programs in NAM and LAM.
Under the guidance of the Field Marketing Director, you will work with our sales and product marketing teams to understand the priorities and story so that you can effectively build multi-touch marketing programs.
These programs will deploy a series of tactics (both physical and digital) that will increase leads and grow opportunity pipeline.
The technology landscape moves quickly, so we need you to be agile and activate tactics quickly in this fast-paced digital world.
Your responsibilities :
Proactively manage the day-to-day tactics and execution of marketing activities for select MarCom Programs across physical and digital touchpoints.
Build measurable sales pipeline (leads and opportunities) through tactics which include, but are not limited to : events, digital campaigns, webinars and social media.
Report to stakeholders on the determined frequency (monthly or quarterly) to showcase program performance and be able to adapt tactics according to the discovered insights, eg. post-event report.
Act as an ambassador of the Hitachi Energy brand to improve the three Rs : Reputation, Relationships and Revenue.
Measure KPIs which may include : booth traffic, email click-through-rate (CTR), cost per lead, form completion rate, account engagement, bounce rate, SEO rankings, and conversion rates for MQLs and SQLs.
Partner with our regional sales teams and other relevant business experts to define strategic target accounts that our programs should target.
Support market segmentation activities to identify where we should strategically invest our budget to optimize our multi-touch efforts to maximize our ROI.
Work with stakeholders to have a customer-first mindset and gather regional intelligence : this means understanding the sales journey, challenges and user experience (UX) when interacting with our solutions.
Coordinate marketing activities with the rest of the GA Marcom organization : Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Content Marketing and Communications.

Your background :
Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, business or similar area of study
Exceptional project management, communication and problem solving.
Experience in copywriting and storytelling : able to quickly write short-form copy for emails, ads, blogs, and posts based on long-format assets (infographics, whitepapers, customer stories).
Excellent interpersonal skills and judgment.
Data analytics skills : KPIs / ROI
Experience in B2B, sales, energy, advertising agency, transportation, heavy industry or technology space.
Platform experience : Eloqua, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Twitter, Facebook, preferred.
Experience managing, tracking and reporting on budgets.
Experience with media, creative agencies or freelancers.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese, preferred.
