The Chemo / Infusion RN provides professional nursing care in accordance with known / accepted standards of practice as described by the Oncology Nursing Society & the American Nurses Association.
The Chemo / Infusion RN, under general supervision, assists with the daily operations of the clinic, including but not limited to patient care & education, triaging telephone calls, assisting with scheduling, billing, obtaining prior authorization, and maintaining medical records for the patients.
The Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned patients carrying out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice, medical direction, and hospital policies, procedures, and standards.
The RN utilizes the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.

2+years Current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion - Required
Port / Catheter / Fistula experience Required
IV Cert. / Peripheral IV Insertion experience - STRONGLY PREFERRED
BSN - Preferred
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required
Current NH RN licensure - Required
NO NEW GRADS
ONS Chemotherapy / Biotherapy certificate Required.
BLS Required
ACLS, ONCC Preferred.
