SUMMER SCHOOL SERVICES 2024
Position : Paraprofessionals (up to 60)
Reports to : Teacher / Building Administrator
Dates of Employment :
- 20 Days - Students attend July 8-August 2nd M-F
- 5 days for PD and prep June 26-30
- 4 Hours per day (Mornings- time TBD)
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Report to teacher and Program Administrator
- Act as part of an inter-disciplinary classroom team
- Assist teacher in maintaining classroom
- Physically assist students as needed; this may include holding, carrying, feeding, and toileting.
- Assist in carrying out therapies as requested.
- Perform other tasks as requested by teacher.
Qualifications :
- Experience in educational programs serving students with disabilities
- Meets DOE standard for highly qualified paraprofessional
Salary : $20hr x 25 days (4 hour days) $2,000
