Entry level Field Survey Technician OSP / Telephone / Power Poles - Colorado Springs, CO

We are seeking a Field Survey OSP / Telephone Tech for a short-term contract role covering residential areas of Colorado Springs, CO.

You will be part of a 2-person team gathering data on telecom pole infrastructure.

Project start date : 10 / 21 / 24

Duration : Approx 5 Weeks

40-50 hrs. Per week

A reliable vehicle is required (mileage will be reimbursed) when not traveling in the Company Vehicle.

You will be working with a Sr Field Survey so reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key traits.

Pay : $20-22hr. DOE

As the entry level Field Survey Technician, you will assist with gathering the necessary field information on the existing aerial and underground infrastructure (Poles, pole loading, Cables, terminal cabinets GPS coordinates etc.

for the engineers to use later in the Fiber design phase.

Role :

Locate and document detailed information on the existing OSP facilities : cables, poles, ground structures, terminals, manholes, and equipment using a specialized I-Pad application.

Acquire the necessary field information, record verifications, and document / Data preparation, to prepare work order construction prints.

You ll take detailed, measurements, notes, and photos of the proposed telecommunications network construction locations, cable routes, and equipment and complete field surveys.

You must be able to walk up to 8 miles per day.
