This is a Per Diem position Admissions Representative / Registrar position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA
Reporting to the Director of Access Services and the Admitting / Communications Assistant, the Admitting Representative registers and admits patients ensuring adherence to specific departmental policies and procedures.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 5, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital.
Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 2 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center.
The merged hospitals are now a -bed community hospital network comprised of a -bed acute care hospital and a -bed rehabilitation campus.
It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1, trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately physicians representing more than specialties.
Qualifications
Minimum Essential Experience :
- One year previous experience as an Admitting Representative or medical receptionist preferred.
- Computer experience preferred.
Required Licensure / Certifications :
- Assaultive Behavior Management certificate required within days from date of hire.
