Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Location : Pflugerville, TX
Shift : 12 HR Nights (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)
Shifts Per Week : 3
Scheduled Hours : 36 Hours
Hourly Rate : $32 - $53 per hour
Job Overview :
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. As part of the ICU team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to critically ill patients, ensuring high-quality treatment while supporting the patients families.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct detailed assessments of patients' conditions, prioritize care needs, and create individualized care plans.
Monitor and respond to changes in patients conditions, adjusting care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, promoting well-being.
Delegate tasks to team members appropriately, maintaining accountability for overall patient care.
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
Ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records, including treatment plans and patient progress.
Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe and compliant care environment.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
A current and valid Registered Nursing license.
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
Strong knowledge of critical care nursing standards, medical terminology, and patient care procedures.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in ICU nursing preferred.
