Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Details :
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Second Shift (Monday through Saturday from 04 : 00pm to 02 : 00am)
Full-time schedule :
Monday - Friday as early as 3 : 00 pm and as late as 2 : 00 am depending on your department scheduleSome weekends will be required as neededAssociate earns an extra $ per hour for weekend hours - THAT'S $18 / hr FOR WEEKEND SHIFTS
Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Qualifications :
- Drives sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers and automated pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Pallet building and pallet picks.
- Loads goods onto conveyer belts.
- Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material.
- Ensures the safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Follows safety regulations and company guidelines.
- Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked.
- Determines when repairs need to be made on equipment.
- Rotates stock so that oldest items are shipped or sold first.
- Loads and unloads product from and onto tractor trailers, rail cars, and cargo ships.
- Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages.
- Entry Level-No warehouse picking, packing experience is required. (Training will be provided)
- Able to lift, bend, stand, stoop, and squat
- No HS Diploma is needed
- Lift up to 25-50lbs repetitively
- Ability to read labels
- Reliable and has a great attendance record
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
