Job Description :
- The successful candidate will be responsible for using their cell and molecular biology skills to characterize antiviral drug resistance.
- For success in this role a candidate who is flexible with day-day routine, has a high degree of scientific curiosity and, is willing to learn is required.
- Scientific techniques used in this role will include, but are not limited to; mammalian cell culture, microscopy, high-content imaging, additional cell-based assays, nucleic acid / protein extraction and RT-PCR.
- Virology, Western Blot, qPCR experience is required.

Qualifications : Education :
- Minimum required : B.Sc. in biochemistry or biological sciences with 6+ years hands-on lab experience is must
- M.Sc. / PHD degree with 4+ years hands-on lab experience is must Required :
- Cell and molecular biology experience.
- Tissue culture experience.
- Experience with PCR primer design and nucleic acid analysis.
- Sequence analysis expertise.
- Virology experience is nice to have.
- Biosafety lab(BSL-II) experience.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented.
- Excellent record keeping / laboratory notebook skills.
- Critical thinking; able to evaluate results and troubleshoot issues. Software : Data analysis including Excel and Prism, Geneious Prime software experience is nice to have or expertise with similar software is considerable. Personality :
