About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $729 To $810 Job Title : Recreational Therapist Job Specialty : Mental Health Occupational Therapy Job Duration : 34 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, 40 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours Experience : Not specified License : Not specified Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Not specified Job Description : Part-time Recreational Therapist needed in the mental health department.
- Work schedule includes Thursday to Friday from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM.- Orientation period ranges from 2-4 weeks, Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with flexible 8-hour shifts on any days.
- Provide mental health support and therapy through structured recreational activities.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address patients’ needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure therapeutic goals are met.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for patients to engage in therapeutic activities.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient care.
