Location : 200 Abraham Flexner Way Lou, KY 40202
Shift Options : Part Time (2 12 hour shifts a week) 7pm-7am
Responsibilities : Job Summary
Job Summary
As a Rehabilitation RN, you will collaborate daily with physicians, therapists, and case managers to achieve the best outcome for patients who have experienced life altering events.
In this role you will ensure appropriate plans of care are developed and implemented to meet patient needs for rehabilitation.
Area of Focus
- 8 months 18 years old (children and adolscents)
- Working with patients who are receiving rehab for the following reasons :
- Transplants
- Neurological disorders (Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Autism)
- Brain or Spinal injuries
- Multi Trauma
- 18 years + (adults)
- Working with patients who are receiving rehab for the following reasons :
- Stroke
- Respiratory
- Burns
- Amputees
Qualifications : Job Requirements
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kentucky Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
- BLS required from American Heart Association.
- Associate degree from accredited nursing program
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) accredited by the American Heart Association paid for by unit
Preferred Requirements
Bachelors Degree from accredited nursing program
