Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife to provide expert care and support to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postnatal period.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding women through the childbirth experience, from prenatal visits to postpartum care, while ensuring the well-being of both mother and child.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prenatal Care : Conduct regular prenatal visits with expectant mothers, providing care for both routine and high-risk pregnancies.
- Childbirth Education : Lead childbirth preparation classes, educating mothers and families on the birthing process, prenatal health, and postpartum care.
- Clinical Support : Offer hands-on clinical care and guidance to pregnant women, addressing their questions and concerns throughout pregnancy.
- Labor Monitoring : Monitor fetal heartbeat, assess contraction strength and frequency during labor, and ensure the health and safety of both mother and baby.
- Labor & Delivery Assistance : Assist mothers through labor by coaching, managing complications, and administering necessary medications.
- Post-Birth Testing : Perform newborn assessments and routine tests after birth to ensure the infant's health.
- Postpartum Care & Guidance : Provide education and support to new mothers on recovery, breastfeeding, and infant care.
- Medication & Equipment Management : Administer medications and operate specialized equipment related to labor, delivery, and neonatal care.
Qualifications :
- Education : Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Midwifery from an accredited program.
- Experience : Previous experience in labor and delivery, prenatal, and postnatal care.
- Certifications : Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) certification and current RN license.
- Skills : Excellent communication, clinical, and teaching skills, with the ability to offer compassionate care and support to mothers and families.
