Senior 3D Graphic Designer Artist

Position Summary :

This position is responsible for creating 3D models, textures, finishes, lighting, and 3D environments. Must be able to integrate renders into photography using perspective matching and photo compositing skills.

Responsible for creating training maps and reviewing junior designer's work along with giving notes for revisions. Research new technology developments and implement them into workflow.

Must be proficient in the creation of storyboards, animations, and videos using various technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Execute daily production work consisting of creating photorealistic assets and animations, textures, lighting, adjusting materials, and rendering multiple images per day;

guaranteeing images are delivered at the highest quality and on time

• Creating photorealistic environments Indoor and Outdoor Archviz using lighting expertise to feature products and their surrounding in a way that's visually appealing, highlights features of the product, and meets department's standards
• Attend weekly imagery meetings to discuss work and receive feedback on how to work efficiently and push the quality of your images towards our goal of photo-realism
• Collaborate with the QC team to develop standards and implement best practices to quickly produce high quality imagery and maintain a strong pipeline process.
• Meet 3d team's output and deliverable goals while continuing to push the bar on photo-realism
• Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery
• Review 3D models and be able to articulate how to bring images to completion.
• Acting as an escalation point where difficult or controversial requests are received.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, tools and techniques.
• Performs other duties as required.

Employment Standards :

• Knowledge
• Expert Knowledge in creating photo-real CG assets
• Expert knowledge of 3ds Max
• Expert Knowledge of V-Ray 3.x
• Expert Knowledge of Corona Rendering.
• Expert Knowledge of Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of WebGL, 3D viewers, and render farms a plus
• Advanced skill level (minimum of 5 years) using Adobe Photoshop CC or higher
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or Media Arts required.

Experience :

• Over 5 years of 3D experience working within Lighting.
• Strong 3D skills (both artistically and technically), with an excellent understanding of physically based cameras, lighting with HDRI's, shading, & rendering
• Ability to create photo-realistic renderings of interior spaces
• Ability to create photo-realistic renderings of Asset Silhouette
• Ability to create photo-realistic Animations
• Ability to achieve photorealism through photo-integration of 2D & 3D
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.

• Ability to work extended hours may be required to meet deadlines, handle unusual workloads or to accomplish organizational priorities
