Behavioral Support Specialist
- Behavioral Support Specialist to provide behavior support services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Nisonger Center;
- performs functional behavior assessments and analysis; trains family members and staff at community agencies in data collection and implementation of strategies;
- works with school, residential, day program staff and families to develop behavior support strategies; presents strategies for approval to appropriate review committees and revises as necessary;
prepares billing statements; documents individual progress and prepares reports.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :
Master's degree required in Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation or equivalency of education and experience.
0-3+ years of experience working with persons with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities required; 0-3+ years experience conducting functional behavior analysis and intervention desired.
Support Service Administrator (SSA) will be obtained upon hire.
