Responsibilities Come join Baker Tilly's Development & Community Advisory (DCA) team as an Associate Program Manager working on our Development and Community Advisory Energy and Infrastructure team.
As an Associate Program Manager with Baker Tilly, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and external partners, deliver on contractual requirements, and will manage a subcontractor network that supports project delivery.
Day-to-day program manager for SFA program (Client facing, More technical in nature, heavy reporting / presentation focus both on federal compliance and performance, coordinate training activities for program partners, develop / deliver marketing materials to support project pipeline, liaison between compliance and operations (energy) workstreams).
The Associate Program Manager reports to the Director, SFA. Responsibilities : Oversee day-to-day program operations, including all project technical and financial due diligence processes and program performance and reporting processes.
Evaluate projects for funding through careful review of project-level technical and financial due diligence reports, economic summaries.
Ensure compliance with all contract and program requirements. Design and review technical and financial performance standards and objectives that meet program standards.
Manage public relations with prospective grantees on behalf of our Client. This includes sharing news they are not eligible, must return funds, need to provide additional information, or explaining processes that they do not understand.
Develop program-specific training and marketing materials for external partners. Train partners on technical and financial performance standards and program objectives.
Maintain quality control for all deliverable products and reports, demonstrating objectivity and clarity while maintaining program schedules.
Establish and maintain a professional rapport with clients and partners, including identifying and anticipating needs and proposing solutions to address client concerns and establishing a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or related field of study required; a Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
10+ years of experience working in the energy industry (utilities, utility-run programs, solar) or in finance, banking, consulting, or related field.
Experience working with governmental clients and / or agencies. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
Program Management experience is preferred. Demonstrated organizational and coordination skills. A demonstrated attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
