The Assistant Manager / Clinical Nurse Manager facilitates efficient and cost-effective daily operations of the unit in relation to patient throughput including but limited to admissions, discharges and transfers;
promotes a culture of safety and quality in the implementation of established standards, protocols, policies and procedures.
In collaboration with the Patient Care Director, Assistant Manager / Clinical Nurse Manager participates in the establishment of unit(s) short and long term goals and ensures its alignment with the hospital’s overall strategic goals;
accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory, hospital and divisional requirements.

The Assistant Manager / Clinical Nurse Manager will oversee the Inpatient Hemodialysis unit, Outpatient Hemodialysis, Apheresis unit and Dialysis unit at the Allen location.
This is a full time position between 10 am and 6pm, Monday to Friday at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center and occasionally at Allen Hospital Preferred Criteria
Some charge nurse experience is ideal
Apheresis RN Experience Is Preferred
Current ACLS & PALS is preferred
Required Criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in New York
At least 2 years of clinical RN experience in Dialysis
Current BLS is required.

Salary Range
$130,000-$155,000 / Annual
