Job Title : Registered Nurse - Oncology Job Specialty : Oncology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 06 : 30 PM - 07 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : Information not provided Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Registered Nurse (RN) Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Certification and experience in oncology nursing Job Description : Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as required.- Monitor patient vitals and progress during treatment.- Collaborate with the oncology healthcare team for effective patient care planning.
- Educate patients and families about treatment protocols and post-care expectations.- Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and interactions.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols within the unit.- Utilize critical thinking skills to effectively manage emergency situations.
- Participate in continuous education opportunities to enhance oncology expertise.
