Job Title : Electrical Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled electrical mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of relevant experience and possess expertise in conduits, pipe bending, and wiring.

The Foreman will work under the guidance of a Journeyman level electrician and assist in various tasks related to the installation, alteration, addition, and repair of electrical systems on commercial work sites.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
• Bend pipe (1 inch).
• Trace out short circuits in wiring.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit, and motors.
• Remove lighting fixtures and install new ones.
• Pull MC Cable wires.
• Help secure, relocate, and organize materials, small tools, and equipment.
• Assist in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting, and positioning materials.
• Operate hand tools and equipment under direct supervision.
• Assist in mounting and strapping conduit.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep supplies and parts in order.
• Keep work area clean by collecting and disposing of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in conduits, pipe bending, and wiring.
• Ownership of basic hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• 8+ years of experience in the electrical field.
• Carpentry and masonry repair skills.
• Familiarity with NEC code.
