Overview
Fuel, grease, and inspect construction equipment as directed in a safe and efficient manner. Follow and comply with all Webber and MachineryPark safety policies and procedures.
Job Duties
- Report to all assigned job sites and fuel all equipment daily
- Comply with all safety provisions and policies
- Obtain hours from all equipment on each jobsite daily
- Inspect units for any mechanical or safety defects and report findings immediately
- Lube all grease points in accordance with manufacturer's lube charts
- Fill automatic grease canisters to 2" from top
- Turn in time sheets and fuel logs daily
- Maintain an accurate daily fuel log with correct unit numbers, equipment hours, job numbers, number of gallons, and vendor names for 3
party rentals
- Check and inspect the following :
- All fluid levels
- Radiator antifreeze level and protection level
- Batteries and terminals
- Engine belts
- Tires
- Undercarriage
- Wear metals
- Crane safety annual inspection date
- Wash radiators and other components as needed
- Notify supervisor of any mechanical defects immediately
Requirements
- Lift, push, or pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds
- Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in a various environments
- Manual dexterity sufficient to reach / handle items and work with the fingers
- Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications
- Valid driver license for occasional, required travel
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables
- Ability to physically maneuver by foot minor obstacles at construction projects
- Work outdoors with exposure to changing weather conditions such as rain, sun, snow, and wind
