Job Details

Target Ratios : 1 : 5-6

36 - 48 hours per week, with OT offered after 48 hours

Contracts available up to March 15, 2025

12-hour night shifts

Float to like units as required

Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts in 6 weeks

Required Skills and Certifications

Minimum 1 year of experience

Accepts first-time travelers

Skills : IV start, Vents, Telemetry, CPAP / BiPAP, Dysrhythmia management

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Preferred Skills

NIHSS Certification

Patient Population

COPD, Respiratory distress, COVID-19, FLU, PE's

Includes care for COVID-19 positive patients

Unit Details

High acuity med-surg unit with team support

48-bed unit with chronic trach / vent patients

CNA ratio : 9-10 : 1

Common cases : COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, acute respiratory failure

RRT and Code Team

Behavioral Health Team

Special Equipment

Chest tubes, Dopamine, Cardizem, Heparin drips

Vents, trachs, CPAP / BiPAP
