LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting a Litigation Paralegal for a law firm client in Jacksonville, FL. This group is looking for someone who is excited to work with a busy and productive team.
The role is full-time, in office.
Responsibilities
Provide general paralegal support to attorneys in litigation practice
Draft legal documents, reports, summaries and correspondence
Draft pleadings, including answers, motions, notices, orders, calendar requests, subpoenas, affidavits, and other court filings;
eFiling with various courts
Prepare for depositions, settlement conferences, motions, trials and hearings
Liaise with clients, providing updates and gathering information
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, supporting a business litigation practice
Understanding of legal court rules, deadlines and procedures (state, federal and appellate)
Proficiency with MS Office package and legal billing software
Knowledge of eFiling Portals
Strong project and case management skills
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
