Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Sales Representative to oversee the sales operations of our retail storefront and warehouse supplying both the construction industry and homeowners.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This role requires a hands-on approach to managing sales, driving revenue growth, and fostering positive relationships with both customers and internal partners.
Responsibilities :
- Develop sales strategies and tactics to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Collaborate with sales managers on a regular basis to discuss goals, strategies, and performance metrics.
- Ensure that every customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Train staff on effective customer service techniques and best practices.
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Develop a deep understanding of the products we sell, including features, benefits, and applications.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
- Oversee daily store operations, including punctual opening and closing procedures, cash handling, assuring the store is adequately staffed, and security.
- Prepare sales reports, inventory reports, and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and good technical skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
Schedule and Compensation :
- Monday to Thursday : 7 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM
- Friday : 7 : 30 AM - 1 : 00 PM
- Every other Sunday : 9 : 00 AM 12 : 00 PM
