As a Registered Nurse(RN) in the ICU you will assume full responsibility for the care ofcritically ill patients. Your role includes performing assessmentsdeveloping and implementing care plans and evaluating patientoutcomes.
You will also be responsible for educating patients andtheir families while ensuring that high standards of nursing careare met across all shifts.
As part of this role you will lead andsupervise licensed and nonlicensed nursing staff providing guidanceto ensure the highest quality of care.
Flexibility in schedulingincluding weekends and holidays is required to ensure continuouspatient care. Additionally you will actively participate indischarge planning and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams tosupport patientrecovery.
WorkSchedule : Rotating shifts (7 AM 7 PM) including weekendsand holidays.

Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- CurrentRegistered Nurse (RN) license in the State ofAlabama.
- BasicLife Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days ofhire).
- AdvancedCardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 6months ofhire).
- Abilityto assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care using thenursingprocess.
- Strongleadership skills capable of supervising and guiding a nursingteam.
- Excellentcommunication and decisionmaking abilities to work effectively withpatients families and healthcareprofessionals.
- Abilityto handle highstress situations and provide ageappropriate careacross diverse patientpopulations.
Travel not required.
