Summary :

Our award-winning client is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team! This is a regionally traveling (up to 2 hours) service technician role for a stable, family-owned company.

You'll use your mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

The ability to troubleshoot, communicate effectively, and work independently is key. You'll also have opportunities for career growth and enjoy a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities :

Travel regionally (up to 3 hours) in a company-provided truck to customer sites for equipment maintenance and repairs.

Analyze equipment components like motors, burners, and control systems to optimize performance.

Troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and complete repairs to ensure smooth operation.

Occasionally support colleagues in nearby territories (around 10% travel) or for larger projects (rare overnight stays with overtime pay).

Required Qualifications :

Experience working with large motors, fans, and related components.

Understanding of airflow, temperature control, exhaust systems, and fan systems.

Solid grasp of electrical theory, including current flow.

Experience with burners, heat transfer, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) a plus.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication to explain technical challenges to both internal teams and customers.

Ability to work independently but also know when to seek support.

Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional communication with customers.
