St. Catherine of Siena Hospital is a proud member of Catholic Health and has served the residents of the Smithtown area for more than 50 years.

St. Catherine’s is located on the north short of Long Island in Smithtown. The campus is comprised of 296-bed not-for-profit community hospital;

a 240-bed nursing and rehabilitation care center; and a 60,000 square foot medical office building. Our nurses, physicians, and support staff are devoted to providing advance health care in an environment of compassion to our patients, their families, and our community.

Job Details

Registered Nurse Responsibilities :

• Coordinates a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.
• Utilizes all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual, cultural, and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights.
• Utilizes knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.
• Coordinates, integrates and facilitates the patient / provider relationship along the continuum of care.

Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current New York State RN License required.
• ANA certification or certification from appropriate agency in specialty preferred.
• 1 year med / surg experience and 1 year specialty experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Salary Range

USD - USD / Hr.
