Printing Press Operator Job Overview : This position is responsible for manufacturing and packaging of labels. May include but not limited to running a press, running a turret machine, packaging product and maintaining a clean and safe work space
Printing Press Operator Pay : $25-30 / hour DOE
Printing Press Operator Shift : 1st Shift 8am-5pm Monday -Friday; 2nd Shift 1pm-11pm Monday - Thursday
Printing Press Operator Key Requirements :
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Consistent work history
- 1 year minimum experience running Andy Mark or 650 Webtron presses
- Proficient at Production Setups, Blueprint Reading, Quality inspection
- Leadership in taking initiative to pitch in where help is needed, work on improvements
Printing Press Operator
Press Operator Key Responsibilities :
- Operate Andy Mark or 650 Webtron Press
- Executes scheduled job according to specifications in order to set-up and run the required equipment
- Completes the make-ready and installs all required auxiliary equipment in order to meet or perform the necessary job specifications
- Selects the inks and mixes inks as specified; Monitors use of inks and varnishes on the press
