Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-hour
Job Description :
As a Registered Nurse in the MS Telemetry Unit will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical care.
The position demands strong clinical expertise and the ability to manage patients with complex medical needs, including telemetry monitoring and comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor patients' heart rhythms using telemetry and respond to any abnormal readings.
- Assess and manage patient health, administer medications, and perform treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Use Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care, following hospital protocols and best practices.
Requirements : Experience :
Experience :
- 2+ years of recent MS Tele experience Required.
- Prior experience in a hospital / acute care setting Required.
Certifications :
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required.
Technologies :
Proficiency with Epic EMR Preferred.
Skills :
- Strong clinical skills, particularly with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
