Title : Intune Engineer
Location : Remote (pst hours)
Duration : 12 month contract (with possible extensions and / or conversion)
Pay Rate : 55-60 / hr *based on experience*
Project Overview :
Deploy Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Bitlocker for all agency computers for Operating System, Application, and Device Management.
Scope of Work :
Design and deploy Intune for the management of devices and applications on the tenant portal.
- Collaborate with existing staff to create and deploy a base Windows 11 image with agency wide applications.
- Ability to rollout updates and new applications using automation.
- Knowledge transfer to existing staff to allow them to continue managing Intune.
- Setup conditional access policies to control access to organization resources based on device compliance and risk.
Deliverables :
- Configured Intune environment for rolling out OS and applications.
- Deployment policies for computers, applications, and updates.

- Create comprehensive documentation of Intune configurations, processes, and procedures to facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Conduct training sessions for Infrastructure staff responsible for managing Intune.
- Transfer knowledge about day to day management tasks, troubleshooting, and best practices for ongoing maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Implement Microsoft Intune based on best practices.
- Work with IT / Infrastructure staff throughout the entire design and deployment.
- Leave staff with the skills and documentation to maintain and administer the Intune environment, as well as the security / compliance of conditional access policies.
Requirements and Specifications :
- Extensive experience in deploying and administering Microsoft Intune.
- Experience in the Microsoft Compliance administration and conditional access policies.
- Understanding of the steps required to enable Intune management on a tenant, including various manual and automatic enrollment methods, and Autopilot configuration.
- Understanding how to set up application installations for various configurations including win32 apps, scripted, O365 packages.
- Knowledge of best practices for deploying and maintaining the Intune environment.
