Compensation : $2.13 hourly plus tips.
Server Responsibilities :
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
- Attend to customers upon entrance / seating.
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food / beverages.
- Take orders from customers and collect payment.
- Perform all opening / closing duties and side work.
- Running food and bussing tables when necessary.
- Follow all steps of service.
- Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.
Server Requirements :
- Previous experience as a server.
- Ability to memorize all menu items and ingredients, as well as daily / weekly specials.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
- Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask efficiently.
- Attention to cleanliness and safety.
- Relevant training certifications (TABC and Food Handlers).
- Authorized to work in the United States.
