About the Role :
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons that stimulate students' interest in reading, writing, and critical analysis.
Your role will involve planning and teaching a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Inspire and engage students through dynamic teaching methods and interactive activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.
- Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development opportunities.
- Support students in preparing for exams and coursework.
Requirements :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field.
- Experience as an English Teacher, with a proven track record of student success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students across a range of abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
