AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices for security and scalability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Architecture Design : Develop and maintain cloud architecture that meets business needs while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Deployment and Management : Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud services using AWS tools like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
- Automation : Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to automate deployments.
- Monitoring and Performance : Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and availability, using tools like AWS CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail.
- Security : Ensure security best practices are followed, including IAM roles, security groups, and data encryption.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Collaboration : Work with development teams to ensure cloud architecture supports application needs and assists in migration strategies.
- Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and configurations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI / CD tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) is a plus.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and services within AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
