Job Description
Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Medical Store Warehouse / Purchasing position. The Medical Store Warehouse / Purchasing person is responsible for accomplishing all shipping and receiving on a daily basis and to maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Prepares all items to be shipped and received on a daily basis
- Notifies appropriate parties of shipments received
- Place all items received for stock into the appropriate location on a daily basis
- Monitor and maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels and places orders when necessary
- Maintain the warehouse area in a neat and orderly fashion
- Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
- Cleans all DME in rental return room according to company policy and places items back in stock on a daily basis
- Disinfects all appropriate equipment according to company policy and places items back in stock on a regular basis
- Delivery driver duties as needed
- Rotating on-call schedule
- Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Good organizational and customer service skills
- Good communications skills
- Basic knowledge of home care medical products and supplies
- Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis
