Scott Humphrey has partnered with a growing General Contractor in the Tennessee area to assist in finding their new Multifamily Construction Project Manager as the organization continues to grow.
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and final delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily residential construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and manage multifamily residential construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to ensure efficient project execution.
- Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and costs, ensuring projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to oversee work progress, quality control, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations on project sites.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in multifamily residential construction.
- Extensive knowledge of multifamily residential construction methods, materials, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
- Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting.
