Certifications :
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Must-Have :
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- Ability to float to the Surgical and Digestive Intensive Care Unit (SDICU) as needed
Job Description :
- Dedicated to the care of critically ill patients with heart and vascular issues.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deliver advanced medical care to patients with severe cardiovascular conditions.
- Maintain all required certifications and licensure.
- Participate in a 16-hour orientation program.
- Be proactive in maintaining patient safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure availability for lab work and compliance protocols if necessary.
- Maintain transparency regarding background checks before submission.
This position does not require on-call availability, and local candidates may be accepted at a different rate. Potential applicants should be prepared to discuss their charting system experience and any background considerations during the application process.
Return staff are eligible to apply if they have been away for at least one year.
