Pricing, Senior Manager

Key Role :

Act as a lead for providing pricing strategy and business guidance for products and as-a-Service solutions in an emerging business environment.

Work closely with solutions and client service leaders as they develop and manage products, solutions, and asso cia ted marketing and sales strategies.

Drive collaboration in developing and assessing pricing and business strategies, and lead the development of solution type proposal practices and tools.

Assess and recommend strategies in the context of re-seller agreements, teaming and subcontract agreements, and proposals to government and commer cia l clients.

Monitor pricing performance for competitiveness and business performance, and escalate problems that may impact competitiveness, performance, or execution.

Develop and maintain relationships with key internal client and colleagues from a variety of functions, including Product or Client Service Team Leaders, Contracts, Finance, CTO, and Law.

Perform analyses on competitive cost, price trends, and historical sale price points for specific solutions and as-a-Service offerings.

Actively monitor market trends and keep up to date on prices set by competitors. Perform finan cia l evaluation and modeling to assess pricing action effectiveness.

Maintain and update pricing history database.

Basic Qualifications :

• 12+ years of experience developing pricing for te chn ology products or services in a government or commer cia l environment, including pricing strategies, structures, tools, and communications
• 10+ years of experience with product and solution sales or pricing and accounting methodologies regarding key terms, warranties, IP, and commer cia l pricing for a blend of commer cia l and government clients
• 8+ years of experience developing product pricing models and finan cia l analyses, including value tradeoffs, cashflow, profitability, and warranty or risk assessment
• Experience developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance profitability
• Knowledge of FAR, including FAR Part 12 and agency supplements
• Ability to analyze, evaluate, and advise on key finan cia l decisions at each point of the product or solution lifecycle such as idea generation through price maintenance of products in market
• Ability to counsel product or client teams on price strategy based on historical data and competitive market assessments
• Ability to successfully support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

• Experience developing or delivering price strategy presentations or analyses and training to executives and key decision-makers
• Experience using Micro sof t Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of system integration and the use of information te chn ology and advanced intelligence systems and tools
• Ability to support a fast-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thi nk ing skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
