Store Away Self Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Self Storage manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact to our customers, assisting them with their storage needs and ensuring a positive experience.
Your responsibilities will include managing customer inquiries, processing rental agreements, maintaining facility organization, and ensuring safety and security protocols within our establishment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet customers and provide assistance with storage unit inquiries and rentals
- Process rental agreements
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Marketing insurance coverage and storage merchandise
- Maintain a clean and organized office and storage facility
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure security and cleanliness
- Conduct daily lock checks
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with marketing and promotional efforts to attract new customers
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and unit availability
- Collaborate with team members to meet facility goals and enhance customer satisfaction
- Travel as needed to other storage locations
- Working 4 days a week 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm and Saturday 9 : 00am-2 : 00pm. Saturday is required
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in customer service is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
- Ability to multitask, handle a fast-paced environment, and work independently
- Ability to open and close storage unit door, lifting up to 30lbs
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or self-storage is preferred
