Job Responsibilities
- Follow written work instructions must maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures including those which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Properly use required PPE
- Perform various duties pertaining to cleaning and painting of manufactured products requiring the acceptable skill level
- With an acceptable level of proficiency, use proper techniques, select material to prepare and paint specific product surfaces with minimal assistance from supervision
- Correctly mask and prepare all surfaces for painting
- Completely maintain and clean up equipment, paint booth and booth area
- Touch-up and repaint products consistent with plant quality standards
- Know all safety requirements including proper plant ventilation standards (respirator usage, no smoking, use of safety glasses, etc)
- Read and interpret manufacturing processes, blueprints and other work instructions
- Paint all products with acceptable skill level and proficiency applying all techniques and using all types of equipment available within the plant
