We are looking for a Yard Laborer / Forklift Operator for our Packing and Crating division. If you have this experience, we would like to meet you!
Responsibilities :
- Securing of freight to flat racks and in open top containers. Training is provided.
- Utilizing Industrial forklifts to accomplish tasks.
- Cleaning out / off containers and work areas.
- Must be able to follow direction, work independently or work in a team.
- Careful handling of customer freight.
Requirements
- Experience moving heavy objects.
- Working outside in warehouse yard securing freight to ocean equipment containers (open top / flat rack) for export.
- Unloading import freight from ocean equipment containers.
- Use of chains / binders, strapping material, tape measures, power tools (nail guns / saws).
- Attention to detail.
- Careful handling of freight.
- Able to withstand outside conditions during the seasons.
