Financial Intelligence Operations and Support Officer

The Opportunity :

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence expert to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers.

As a FININT Operations and Support Officer, you use your specialized technical and functional experience, and your attention to detail to develop insights, understanding, recommendations, and reports to give your client the actionable information and context they need.

If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect our national security and inform our nation's leaders.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your experience conducting financial analysis, research, or targeting support, use of targeting tools and databases, and exceptional communication ability in support of national security decisions.

You will use your communication expertise to research, brief, and work in teams under minimal supervision to accomplish tactical and strategic objectives.

And most importantly, you will deliver recommendations and data driven metrics to inform decisions made by our nation's leaders and policymakers.

As the authority in your area of expertise, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in data analytics, research and analysis, analytical writing, briefing senior decision makers, share your methodologies with analysts and investigators, and work throughout the interagency environment to address illicit finance risks to the US financial system.

This position may require overseas travel, as required.

You Have :

5 years of experience with financial analysis, research, and targeting

Experience in conducting research and due diligence with multiple sources to synthesize the resulting data, develop a workable course of action based on the results, and communicate the results in a professional method

Ability to grow, maintain, and exploit a wide network to accomplish an objective

Ability to balance competing requirements and objectives in a dynamic environment

Ability to conduct overseas travel, as required

TS / SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree or 5 years of experience with program management, accounting, business, economics, finance, or program management best practices in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have :

Experience in managing relationships with foreign liaison services and interacting with liaison partners on operational topics

Experience with providing training or giving presentations to the foreign liaison

Knowledge of global finance, including financial data, financial institutions, money transfer mechanisms, the FINTECH industry, or threat finance

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;

TS / SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
