Director, Special Projects
The Special Projects Director will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Integrated Kidney Care (IKC). This teammate will serve as a Director of Special Projects and support the development of business strategy, aggregating and synthesizing analysis, partnering with various functions across the enterprise to drive strategic planning, organizing management processes, business communications and supporting team engagement initiatives.
This includes efforts in IKC, Procurement (PRISM), Redwoods and the Contact Center Transformation initiative.
Location : Denver based, hybrid role (Tues, Wed & Thurs in office)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Support the IKC CFO in crafting and executing on strategic imperatives. Initiatives extend across the IKC CFO’s portfolio including PRISM, Redwoods and Contact Center or other areas of the CFO’s portfolio.
- Organize Finance / Analytics and Growth IKC efforts and drive collaboration across lanes.
- Highlight management process gaps or improvement opportunities, then implement solutions.
- Drive creation of materials for executive updates, bi-annual strategy / performance reviews and other updates against portfolio.
- Lead critical project(s) working across multiple service lanes; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate across IKC, PRISM, Contact Center teams to perform analyses and synthesize results.
- Support internal communication by helping to craft and deliver key messages.
Strategy & Project Execution :
- Ability to lead through influence, often managing several senior level stakeholders with various priorities.
- Drives results / gets things done defines approach with limited guidance / oversight and adjusts as needed while seeking feedback and input.
- Manages and drives strategic and operational initiatives in collaboration with other teams.
- Able to structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and drive execution.
- Develops and communicates project scope, timeline, plan, resource requirements, and assumptions.
- Creates, implements, and drives adoption of processes and solutions to further clinical and business outcomes.
- Communicates project status updates and needs to senior leadership; prepares, reports, and manages against targets / goals including scope, schedule, metrics, and revenue.
Education & Experience Requirements :
- Prior experience in Project Management, Strategy, and / or Consulting, or a similar role supporting enterprise-level initiatives within healthcare or financial operations leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or graduate degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in a strategic or operational leadership role.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
- Prior experience in healthcare services and / or working with payors, physician networks, value-based care models, and / or integrated care models may be helpful.

Salary / Wage Range : $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 / year. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
