Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location : Houston, TX
Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Houston, TX, starting August 12, 2024, through May 30, 2025.
This position offers flexibility in terms of full-time or part-time hours, accommodating the preferences of qualified candidates.
Job Details :
- Schedule : Full-time or Part-time (flexible based on candidate preferences)
- Caseload (Full-time) : 50 to 60 students
- Start Date : August 12, 2024
- End Date : May 30, 2025
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions based on assessment findings
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on speech, language, and communication goals
- Collaborate closely with educational team members, parents, and caregivers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Texas state license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with diverse caseloads and school-aged children preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
