Key Responsibilities :
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Senior Principal, Supply Chain - Engineer to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.
This role will be responsible for managing capital and expense projects throughout the 285 acre manufacturing facility. Role includes complete project management responsibility from ideation to completion.
Duties include scope development, cost estimating, writing funding request, project execution, scheduling, project finances, startup and commissioning.
Applicant must have experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
Projects include facility renovations, upgrades and expansions, site improvements, maintenance and repairs, and manufacturing and warehousing equipment.

Additional Responsibilities :
- Manage installation contractors, vendors, and OEM Service Technicians
- Development of capital projects including the overall scope, budget, and schedule
- Development of bid packages and written scopes of work
- Project Management and Contractor Management
- Assisting the plant operations and maintenance team with technical expertise
- Work directly with operations team to utilize productivity tracking tools such as Zarpac to improve reliability and TE performance.
- Troubleshoot equipment, optimize performance, increase reliability, and improve efficiency.
- Interfacing with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to ensure sound solutions.
- Enforce applicable safety standards & Tropicana Standards
- Coach and mentor Maintenance and Operations team members on Preventative Maintenance
- Update and Revise Tropicana Engineering Standards
- Demonstrated ability to implement short and long term strategies to support organizational operation and transformation
- Work within cross functional teams to deliver critical business initiatives
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other applicable degree with relevant work experience.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience managing capital projects in manufacturing or industrial facilities. Food and beverage or consumer products preferred.
- Must be familiar with building construction and industrial and warehousing equipment.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on design details, schedule and budget adherence
- Must be located in Bradenton, FL or willing to relocate to Bradenton, FL for the duration of employment
- Legally authorized to work in the country to which you are applying without requiring sponsorship or additional work permits now or in the future
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to support building strong internal and external relationships and effectively communicate your work product
